Cancer rehab is the process of helping you to maintain strength and mitigate side effects through cancer treatment. Cancer treatment can include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery, and/or radiation.

Side-effects can include:

  • Cancer Related Fatigue (CRF). 

  • Range of motion limitations in the arms, legs, neck, and back

  • Strength deficits throughout your body

  • Peripheral Neuropathy 

  • Balance deficits

  • Pain

  • Lymphedema

What to expect from cancer rehab:

  • Baseline assessment of strength, range of motion, body weight/body mass index, endurance, and overall fitness level.

  • Question and answer session about your life and goals, such as:

    • What do you want to do?

    • What do you need to be able to do?

    • What matters to you?

    • What are your goals after treatment?

  • Develop a personalized exercise and treatment plan based around your specific deficits and life goals​.
