Kelly Uanino, OTR/L, CLT-LANA is a registered and licensed occupational therapist who earned a bachelors of arts degree from Rutgers University in 2005 and a masters of occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2011. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist Kelly spent several years working as a social worker and special education teacher. She also was project manager at Duke University assisting on research for a National Institute of Mental Health study on foster care in the state of North Carolina. Since becoming an occupational therapist, Kelly has specialized in oncology (cancer) rehabilitation with a certification in the specialized treatment of lymphedema. Kelly is a co-owner and a treating therapist at Be Strong Therapy Services.

 

Kelly enjoys educating clients on how best to care for themselves, giving presentations on oncology rehab and lymphedema therapy, and helping her clients set individual goals on getting back to living life.  In her personal time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, creating tasty meals with her children, and gardening.
