Infrared Light Therapy Device Now Available at Be Strong!

Updated: Jan 12, 2023

Do you have peripheral neuropathy or muscular pain? We are extremely excited to announce that we have a new product available that can serve as an adjunct to your therapy treatment, The HealthLight Laser. In 1998 at Duke University, three American physiologists won the Nobel Prize for discovering that nitric oxide assists in dilating vessels. Our new HealthLight device uses infrared and red LED light to help increase nitric oxide release from hemoglobin and endothelial cells. This nitric oxide sends a signaling molecule that helps relax smooth muscle cells found in the arteries, veins and lymph vessels. When these muscles relax, the vessels dilate. When vessels dilate (or increase in diameter), an increase in blood flow to that area occurs. Increases in blood flow allow for improved healing and nutrition to that area, which in turn reduces pain.

The research-based recommended protocol for treatment is 3x per week x 20 mins for 6 weeks. If this time commitment is too much for you, we sell these products for home use as well and there my be some short term benefit in using this product.

Recently, Megan Bradley posted on our new ONLY FDA approved Lymphedema Laser to manage fibrosis and skin changes after radiation. Check out her blog post on that for more details! Our new HealthLight Laser is DIFFERENT and is used to manage pain and peripheral neuropathy.

Please call or email if you have any further questions regarding this new treatment package we are offering!

That’s why I’m excited to see the infrared light therapy device now available at Be Strong—it’s not just about surface-level relief, it’s about helping the nervous system do what it’s designed to the center of this process is the vagus nerve device , often called the body’s ultimate power line. It connects the brain to nearly every major organ, earning its name from the Latin word for “wandering” as it weaves throughout your entire system
